Anti-corrosion Research
The final goal of research on corrosion mechanism is to provide a set of anti-corrosion measures. Corrosion protection of metallic materials generally has the following aspects:
(a) Considering the economy and antiseptic effect provided a reasonable choice of corrosion resistant alloy;
(b) Medium was added corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, sulfur removal, bactericide, etc;
(c) Dealing with coating, cladding, bleeding layer of materials
(d) Using bimetallic cladding and lining structure;
(e) Using cathodic protection to equipments
Whether these methods could achieve the desired anti-corrosion effect or not often needs to evaluate and select. Maurer Lab can do the evaluating on the following aspects:
